How do I listen to my voicemails from the phone
This is new documentation for our beta dashboard. Please excuse typos as we write and review this documentation
To listen to new and saved voicemails from your phone
From your phone:
- Call your Vumber from the number you registered with the Vumber number (the forwarding number)
- Enter your PIN if you have one set (see below)
- You will hear "please enter the number to dial"
- Enter 123# to access your voicemail system
- Press 1 to listen to new voicemail and 2 for saved voicemail
- When listening to a voicemail, or immediately after a voicemail has finished playing, press 5 to return the call.
- A call will be made to the person who left the voicemail - showing your Vumber number as the caller id.
From the app:
- dial 123# to access your Vumber Voicemail system
- enter your PIN if you have one set (see below)
- Enter 123# to access your voicemail system
- press 1 followed by # to listen to new voicemails
From here, follow the prompts to record your new greeting.
Don't know your voicemail password / PIN?
To view, update or remove this PIN, please follow these steps:
1) Log in to your account at https://portal.vumber.com/inbox
2) Choose "Settings" from the menu option
3) Choose the "Voicemail" tab.
4) You will with the PIN code on this tab.
5) Edit the PIN and click save.
