How to Enable Browser Notifications for Incoming Calls on the Vumber Webphone
Browser notifications help ensure you don’t miss incoming calls while working in other tabs or windows. When enabled, an incoming call to your Vumber number will trigger a pop-up browser alert, clicking the notification brings the webphone window to the front, making it easier to answer calls promptly.
Enabling Notifications in Google Chrome:
- Open Chrome and visit https://app.vumber.com.
- Click the padlock icon to the left of the URL in the address bar.
- Find “Notifications” in the list.
- Use the dropdown menu and select "Allow".
- Refresh the page to apply the setting.
Enabling Notifications in Microsoft Edge:
- Open Edge and go to https://app.vumber.com.
- Click the padlock icon next to the website address.
- Look for “Notifications” and choose "Allow" from the dropdown.
- Reload the page.
Enabling Notifications in Mozilla Firefox:
- Open Firefox and visit https://app.vumber.com.
