TCR Text Campaign Process
When you complete your text message registration, your details will be forwarded to The Campaign Registry (TCR). The TCR is responsible for reviewing, vetting, and ultimately approving your application along with the mobile carriers.
The approval process is divided into two distinct parts:
Part One: Approval of your Brand (your Company information)
TCR will verify that your EIN matches your company name and type. Once their review is complete, they will either:
- Issue an approved brand ID, or
- Request more or corrected information.
Part Two: Approval of your Campaign (the content you intend to send via text)
Once you have been allocated a brand ID, TCR will forward the details of your website, sample messages, privacy policy, and how you obtain permission to send texts to your customers to the wireless carriers.
The wireless carriers are solely responsible for approving this content. After their review, they will either:
- Issue an approved campaign ID, or
- Provide an error code and an error message explaining why the content was refused or requesting more information.
We will notify you each time we receive a response from TCR.
Of course, we are happy to review the responses you receive with you and offer any advice on correcting errors or updating information.
