How to Enable the Call Whisper Feature

Enhance your call management with Vumber's Call Whisper feature, which informs you which Vumber number was called before you answer. This allows you to greet your caller appropriately and manage your calls more effectively. A whisper message is a short, private message that plays to you just before the call connects. Your caller cannot hear the whisper. This feature is especially useful for businesses handling multiple campaigns or services.


Steps to Enable the Call Whisper Feature via the Vumber App:


  1. Open the Vumber app on your mobile device.
  2. Tap the hamburger menu located at the top left corner and navigate to "My Numbers".
  3. Press "Configure" next to the number you wish to enable the feature for.
  4. Select the "Call Forwarding" option from the menu.
  5. Tap "Whisper Message" to open the dropdown.
  6. Tap the keyboard icon under the text box.
  7. Write out the whisper message you will hear and hit "Save".

Steps to Enable the Call Whisper Feature via the Vumber Dashboard:


  1. Log in to your account at Vumber Dashboard.
  2. Select "My Numbers" from the menu options on the left.
  3. Click "Configure" next to the desired number you wish to set up the call forwarding.
  4. Choose the "Call Forwarding" tab from the menu options.
  5. Scroll down to the "Whisper Message" section.
  6. Type the message in the box and hit "Save."

Only you will hear the whisper message before the call is connected. The caller will not hear it.
