How Minutes Are Used in Vumber Plans
Understanding how minutes are used in Vumber plans can help you manage your usage and avoid additional charges. Here's a detailed explanation of how minutes are calculated and what activities count towards your monthly allowance.
What Counts as a Minute?
Minutes in Vumber plans are charged per minute. This means each minute you spend on a call is counted towards your monthly allowance. For example, if you have a 30-second call, it will be rounded up to a full minute.
Call Activities That Use Minutes:
- Answered Calls: Every time you answer a call, the duration of the call is counted towards your monthly minutes. Whether you speak for 10 seconds or 10 minutes, the time is rounded up to the nearest minute.
- Checking Voicemail: When you call to check your own voicemail, the time spent on the call is deducted from your monthly minute allowance.
Activities That Do Not Use Minutes:
- Voicemails Left by Callers: Voicemails left by callers do not count towards your minute usage. This means if someone leaves you a 5-minute voicemail, it does not impact your monthly minute allowance.
Overage Charges:
If you exceed the monthly limit on your plan, additional minutes are charged at a rate of $0.03 per minute. This ensures you can continue using Vumber services even if you go over your initial allotment.
To avoid overage charges, regularly monitor your usage through the Vumber dashboard. The dashboard provides a detailed view of your remaining minutes and can help you keep track of your usage.
