How to Enable Voicemail Transcriptions

Voicemail transcriptions are an invaluable feature for those who need to read their messages quickly without listening to the audio. This feature converts your voicemail messages into text that can be easily read on your device. Here’s how you can enable voicemail transcriptions in the Vumber app.


To enable voicemail transcriptions using the Vumber app, follow these steps:


  1. Open the Vumber app on your mobile device.
  2. Tap the 'Hamburger menu' icon located at the top corner of the screen.
  3. Select 'My Numbers' from the menu options.

  1. Choose the number for which you want to enable voicemail transcriptions by selecting 'Configure' next to it.

  1. Navigate to the 'Voicemail' option.

  1. Under voicemail settings, tap 'Other Settings' beneath the voicemail greeting to open the dropdown menu.
  2. Tap the 'Transcribe Your Voicemail' circle to enable this feature.


To enable voicemail transcriptions through the Vumber dashboard, follow these steps:


  1. Log in to your account by visiting the Vumber Dashboard at https://app.vumber.com.

  1. Click on 'My Numbers' from the menu on the left.

  1. Select the number you wish to configure and click 'Configure' next to it.

  1. Navigate to the 'Voicemail' tab.

  1. Check the box down the bottom labeled 'Transcribe Your Voicemail' to turn on transcriptions.
