How to Set Up Simultaneous Call Forwarding

Streamline your call management by forwarding incoming calls to multiple numbers simultaneously. This feature ensures that important calls are never missed, providing flexibility and accessibility to your communication process.

Steps to Configure Simultaneous Call Forwarding via the Vumber App:

  1. Open the Vumber app on your mobile device.
  2. Tap the hamburger menu located at the top left corner and navigate to "My Numbers."

  1. Press "Configure" next to the desired number you wish to set up the call forwarding.

  1. Select the "Call Forwarding" option from the menu.

  1. Hit the menu at the top under "Where would you like to send this call" and choose "Forward call to several phones and have them all ring simultaneously."

Your simultaneous call forwarding setup is now complete.

Now when someone calls the specified Vumber number, all designated numbers will ring simultaneously, ensuring that important calls are promptly answered.

To add additional numbers for simultaneous ringing:

  1. While in the "Call Forwarding" section, click in the sub section labeled "Forwarding Number."
  2. From there, you can select the option to add more numbers. You can also choose to add calls to the Vumber app and the Web phone.
  3. Choose the additional numbers you wish to include in the simultaneous call forwarding setup and hit "Save."

To configure simultaneous call forwarding through the Vumber dashboard, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your account at https://app.vumber.com.

  1. Select "My Numbers" from the menu options on the left.

  1. Press "Configure" next to the desired number you wish to set up the call forwarding.

  1. Choose the "Call Forwarding" option from the menu.

  1. Click the drop-down menu under "Where would you like to send this call" and choose "Forward call to several phones and have them all ring simultaneously".

When you enable simultaneous call forwarding, if your Vumber number is set to forward to multiple people and someone answers a call, the Vumber number remains active. If another call comes in while someone is already on the phone, it will ring to the remaining numbers set for forwarding. This means multiple people can take calls from the same Vumber number, even if someone is already on a call with that Vumber number.
