How to check if a number has been blocked on your mobile phone
To view blocked callers on an iPhone:
Open the Settings App: Tap on the "Settings" app icon on your iPhone's home screen.
- Scroll Down and Select "Phone": Scroll down the list of settings options and tap on "Phone."
- Call Blocking & Identification: In the "Phone" settings, you will see an option called "Call Blocking & Identification." Tap on it.
- View Blocked Contacts: Here, you will see a list of contacts and phone numbers that you have blocked. These are the numbers that won't be able to call or message you. You can tap "Edit" in the top-right corner if you wish to unblock any of them.
To view blocked callers on an Andriod phone:
- Open the Phone App: Tap on the "Phone" or "Dialer" app icon on your Android device's home screen.
- Access Call Settings: In the Phone app, tap the three-dot menu icon (often located in the upper right or left corner) to open the menu options. From the menu, select "Settings" or "Call settings."
- Blocked Numbers or Blocked Calls: Inside the Call Settings, you should find an option related to blocked numbers or blocked calls. It may be named differently on different Android devices. Common names include "Blocked Numbers," "Blocked Calls," or "Spam Protection."
- View Blocked Contacts: Within the Blocked Numbers or Blocked Calls section, you will see a list of phone numbers or contacts that you have blocked. You can tap on the blocked number/contact to view more details or to unblock them if desired.
Please note that the specific steps and terminology might vary, especially if you're using a customized version of Android by a manufacturer like Samsung, LG, or Google. In such cases, it's a good idea to look for a "Block" or "Spam" section within your Phone app's settings.
If you can't find the blocked numbers in your Phone app's settings, you can also check your phone's settings app under "Privacy" or "Security" for options related to blocked numbers or spam calls.
